My love of cooking was first developed as a child watching my grandmother, Sxita preparing meals for our family. Her dedication to creating lavish dishes made with love was what inspired me to become a chef.
Now as a Cuban-American chef, my goal is to revolutionize the very food I grew up enjoying in making Cuban dishes healthy as well as delicious.
As a nation who loves to eat, we regard our food and those who prepare it close to our hearts. Unfortunately, our love of eating is killing us due mainly in part to improper balancing of meals and the use of inferior ingredients.
My goal is to provide and teach others that we can prepare our food using healthy products such as organic and sustainable local ingredients while enjoying what we eat in order to achieve a healthier way of living.
